Job Summary:
As a Private GPR imaging for concrete and Underground Utility Locator with ScanGator GPRS Careers inspection services, you will be responsible for accurately locating and marking rebar, conduit, PT cables, beams, underground utilities, ensuring the safety of customers when they dig, cut, excavate, core drill, embed or anchor. Essential Goals, Functions, and Responsibilities:
Read GPR screens and be able to interpret the hyperbole information using the acronyms SETL (spacing, elevation, tracing, location) and REST (reflection, elevation, spacing, tracing) and be able to interpret utility maps to identify utilities. Accurately mark the location of public and private underground utilities and all items embedded within structural concrete decks. Such skills are crucial for pursuing GPRS careers successfully.
Understand the difference between PT decks, slab on grade, Pan decks, Pre-cast hollow cell decks, Honey comb decks and all forms of structural concrete walls to include Pre-cast, CMU, brick and concrete walls.
Respond to emergency locate requests after hours. Operate electronic detection equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar. Document all locate tickets with pictures. Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company dress code. Foster positive relationships with customers, homeowners, and contractors. Ensure proper maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with GPS/mapping systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Capability to walk up to 5 miles a day in various weather conditions.
Must use all required personal protective equipment.
